3M™ Performance Plus Duct Tape 8979 has a unique construction that allows for both permanent and temporary applications indoor and outdoor. It is removable with little or no adhesive residue from most opaque surfaces up to 6 months after application.

  • Resists UV, sunlight, and weather to stay on for up to one year without deterioration
  • Special adhesive sticks immediately and reliably long-term to most surfaces
  • Protects against light abrasion including overspray from bead blasting, sand blasting, and shot peening
  • Good choice for hanging polyethylene drapes for containment activities
  • Protects against grime, UV, and weather, then removes cleanly
